The MONDAINE Doppio Collection launches 14 models featuring traditional quartz watches, including four smaller models with a 33mm case size and five larger models with a 41mm case size, alongside five solar-powered watches, each with a 41mm case size, and each meticulously crafted to combine elegance, functionality, and timeless beauty. The first watches in the Doppio Collection are designed with three hands, featuring a distinctive red second hand - a bridging with the MONDAINE Official Swiss Railways Watch SBB Collection, which the company has been producing and selling worldwide since 1986. Introduced nearly 40 years ago, this red second hand reflects MONDAINE’s commitment to craftsmanship and iconic design.

The solar movements in the MONDAINE Doppio Collection capture light energy through solar cells positioned beneath the watch dial. These cells convert sunlight and artificial light into electrical energy, which is stored in a rechargeable battery. This stored energy powers the watch, eliminating the need for regular battery replacements and promoting eco-friendly timekeeping. A fully charged battery can power the watch for approximately 8 months, even without additional exposure to light. To maintain optimal performance, regular charging in direct sunlight is recommended, as it provides the quickest recharge.
